Mouth of the Tyne Festival 2016

Bare Toed have been organising an early years area for the Mouth of the Tyne Festival since 2012. The area has developed progressively and this year included ‘the Treehouse’ – a movement and music area, ‘the Nest’ – a chill-out area hosted by Janine of Birth and Baby Basics, and ‘the Invention Shed’ – a space for making recycled art with the House of Objects. The area also featured a visit from some local bees in a glass hive, a garden area for digging and planting, and the imaginative ‘Fantasy Photo Booth‘, where families get a photo of themselves in weird and wonderful locations.

2016 was super busy and full of fun!
