Bare Toed Dance Company, in collaboration with Oran Milstein, have created a short film about small movement-rituals & bold dances in everyday home settings.
The following video is a short inquiry into the movement rituals that go on in 3 different homes – each of the young people documented have these rituals just for their own sake – the camera tried to simply witness and not direct the action.
The film was shown at the recent Scratch Night at Dance City – in the Scratch discussion we heard a little about other peoples movement rituals and dances in their own homes. We’re really interested in investigating further
